Nestled among protected oak trees this charming, unpretentious cottage, built in 1936, had long been forgotten. The home sits on a third of an acre with views of the local mountains through the trees. Layers of bad renovations were removed and the historic character of the home was replaced.
Due to its historic designation and the presence of protected oak trees, expanding the building’s footprint was not possible. The goal was to completely renovate the home while preserving its quaint spirit and the natural beauty surrounding it, as well as converting the garage into an art studio. Plans were also created for a future guest house in the back northwest corner of the lot to accommodate family and friends.
